Had a really nice lunch at Kazoku and enjoyed our experience there. The restaurant is clean, bright and standard. Staff was friendly, speedy and hardworking. There was one girl taking all the orders during a busy lunch shift. She was accommodating as well as knowledgeable of the menu.Everything we ordered off the menu was delicious. They have ramen special on Tuesdays so we ordered black garlic tonkatsu and spicy seafood ramen. It was a very rich broth with al dente noodles, generous portion of meat topping. If you like hot go for the spicy seafood or chicken ramen and you will like it.By far the best ramen I have ever had in the city. Will definitely go back to try more sushi dishes.

Have been coming to this restaurant for few years. I would say their quality of sushi is one of the best in Winnipeg. Customer Service is good too! Always enjoy coming here! Just did a take out during this pandemic season and the quality of the food remains the same as when you dine in :)

Edit: we have been here over 5 times now and we love it. The black garlic ramen is probably our favorite ramen in the city. Coming on a Tuesday is totally worth it! Staff have always been great and while water refilling could be done a bit more often it deserves a 5/5 for that ramen alone. (Previous review 4/5): Second time here and came based off a recommendation. The ramen itself- spicy fried chicken ramen 4.5/5 (was good and spicy!!, the fried chicken was good but obviously gets soggy really quickly) and 5/5 for the black garlic tonkatsu. We got seated very quickly, and service was good but we never did get our waters refilled- it was fairly busy but we ended up calling them over several times near the end- nothing horrible but I think filling of water should be expected. Takoyaki was very good and served quickly. Sushi is pretty pricey but looked well made! However, we would probably come back on a Tuesday because they have specials where ramen is 12.95!

If you are craving for Ramen, you are definitely at the right place. It’s the best Ramen place in town. This restaurant also serves sushi. The specialty rolls are fresh and very tasty. Both white dragon and Volcano rolls are highly recommended. The staff is vey friendly and they serve the food fast. Highly recommended!

Excellent place for some sushi and Ramen. We went as a large group of 6 with a child, and it was fantastic. The only place I've visited that had a child high chairs ready to go as a part of our seating. They really paid attention to detail and are organized. The staff is so friendly and very patient with my messy toddler. They were generous and served us with good food. Everything we ordered was tasty. We got sushi, Ramen, karage chicken, edamame and the chicken teriyaki was also really good. Highly recommend!

We went to Kazuko for Mother's Day supper. Together, we had the chicken bulgogi, pork bulgogi, beef ramen, mixed tempura and seaweed salad. Everything was amazingly good! Service was excellent as well, with minor adjustments to combinations graciously made, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely go there again.

Wanted to try a new restaurant weve never been to before. My wife ordered the Black Garlic Tonkastu Ramen and Gyoza, and I the White dragon. We both had to take a moment to sit back and appreciate how amazing they tasted. Service was extremely polite and quick. At the end of the evening I couldn't help myself and ordered another helping of sushi for when we got home. We will definitely be coming back again to try other dishes when we're back in the city.

The staff here exemplifies warmth and efficiency, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed. Eloise Roseos raves about the polite service and the beautiful plate presentations, a testament to Kazoku's commitment to both taste and aesthetics.

One of the standout features of Kazoku is their ramen. Customers frequently highlight the delicious black garlic tonkatsu and the spicy seafood ramen, describing them as the best in the city. Emma Guan's experience captures the heart of what diners can expect; with rich broth, perfectly cooked al dente noodles, and generous meat portions, each bowl of ramen delivers a flavorful punch.

If you're planning your visit, be sure to come in on a Tuesday, where tantalizing ramen specials await. For Carmen Huang, it's a deal that can't be missed. While the service may falter in water refilling during peak hours, the rave reviews for the ramen alone make this a minor concern.

As Bing Yue mentions, this restaurant is a haven for those craving authentic Japanese cuisine, all paired with speedy and friendly service. Your taste buds will thank you, and your dining experience will be memorable.
